MastroJanni

It is from 1975 that Mastrojanni has been writing the history books with its wine, collecting numerous prizes all over the world. In those years, starting a wine making company in Montalcino, were very few people. Today, thanks to the excellent terrain and men who have believed in it for decades, Mastrojanni is one of the most respected and renowned wine producers in Montalcino.

Pietroso

The vineyard is exclusively dedicated to Sangiovese and can be found in three distinct zones in the district of Montalcino, allowing it to have an equilibrated product even during those years when the climate is not too good. The terrain is very marginal, rich in Skeleton, and enjoys a fantastic isolated micro-climate which helps the production of the grapes themselves to a very high quality. Thanks also to the constant and attentive manual work, the green pruning and thinning off of the grape bunches.

Poliziano

The year of the first Nobile of Montepulciano ‘Vigna Asinone Riserva’ was 1983, after the grapes of the Asinone vineyards were bottled for the first time as Nobile in 1982. With this name there then followed ’83 – ’85 – ’88 – ’90 with Prugnolo Gentile and a small addition of Canaiolo Nero, Colorino and Mammolo, matured in big wooden vats that was completely ‘out of the norm’ back in those days that still allowed the use of white berried grapes. A wine of great character tied to the Sangiovese territory.

Tenuta dell’Ornellaia

A company that became the temple of Masseto where the Merlot empire has its effective physical roots. A place that became a cult amongst the many passionate followers of Bolgheri Rosso. The terrain of Ornellaia is capable of keeping at bay any kind of climate change.

Fuligni

A family that have been using their name for Brunello for over a century now. We see the birth of wines that can only be described as ‘classics’ for their clearness and depth. Wines that are capable of sharing emotions of pure organoleptic class.

Fattoria San Giusto a Rentennano

A one off unmistakable style that is reflected in every single aspect of the production. From an oily wine, architectonic, from the soul of those who cultivate it. A land of enriched sandstone with clay, layers of sand and trees.

Falchini

An historic reality in the San Gimignano panorama. With the digging up and re-planting of the over 25 year old vineyards and the amplification of the land to be destined for the production of Vin Santo.

Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona

They have maintained their promises with their Riserva Vigna of Pianrossa. A classic pleasurable Brunello and an excellent Rosso di Montalcino: great class and full of taste.
