The newly built canteen contains, apart from the very latest stainless steel silos, the big Barrique cellar, the little Barrique cellar and an entire area that is dedicated to the conservation of sparkling wines. The Barrique project has been studied with the precise intent of being able to marry together a perfect harmony between modern and innovative technologies with the traditional rural practices that are common in winemaking throughout the territory.

Above all else Pellegrino has always aimed at being the primate of this land: a believable testimony are the agricultural companies, spread out over almost 150 hectares (Gazzerotta, Kelbi, Rinazzo, Triglia Scaletta) all within the most spoken about zone in Western Sicily making up a true and proper kaleidoscope of terrain, micro-climate and a variety of cultivated vines from which there comes the base of the most precious production: to these companies there has been generated investments for the cloning of a few selected native and international grapes.
Morsi di Luce is a liquor like wine of a typical geographical denomination (IGT). The wine has golden and amber tones, balsamic odours and a fruity perfume that all explode together adding some clear touches of apricot, elder flower and toasted nut. The Island of Pantelleria is the cradle of Morsi Di Luce. From the Zibibbo grapes, highly matured on the vines, you get a flesh that is very high in sugar content as well as being rich in aroma, after partial fermentation it is added to wine distillery and put to rest for at least ten months in precious Durmast. The final touches are done once it is bottled and increase the wines bouquet. 500 ml. bottles.
