Tenuta Rapitalà

Rapitalà is the result of ties between Luigia Guarassi and Count Hughes Bernard de La Gatinais when in 1968 they decided to put the Rapitalà holding back in shape as it had been damaged by an earthquake that struck the Belice Valley. Laurent, the oldest son, has now taken over the company.

Girolamo Russo

Wines that from their very first arrival in 2006 have made a name for themselves, much of this has been possible by the consultancy and oenological experience of Emiliano Falsini. An expansion phase and growth in quality that has not stopped with a big accent on freshness and mineral content of Nerello Mascalese and Cappuccio.

Occhipinti

Arianna Occhipinti started wine making at just twenty two years of age making the first Frappato, a wine that is instantly likable, made out of a strong sense of Eco-sustainability. Arianna looks after 12 Hectares with a very small staff in her canteen in Vittoria.

Hauner

Brilliant products produced with Malvasia delle Lipari. An historical vineyard that was planted by the Hauners at the beginning of the seventies. Malvasia Delle Lipari of Carlo Hauner is still today one of the most respected labels in the world.

Firriato

A vineyard area of 320 Hectares, a company that faithfully represents the territory of which it comes from, including all of the small islands. A company that has made new installations on the island of Favignana and two people, Salvatore and Vinzia are the true heart and soul of this reality

Dei Principi Spadafora

Pietro from the Spadafore Princes suffered substantial damages to his agricultural system in ’68 but put the Virzi holdings back on its feet, the entire 180 Hectares in the Monreale town. He planted new native vines along with other new varieties that had been imported internationally.

Cottanera

Amongst the biggest wine growing companies in Etna, more than 65 Hectares of plants and vines all together. At the end of the nineties the installation was renewed and planted in terrain rich in lava sand were international vines.

Benanti

The work to add extra value to the territory that lays at the feet of Etna by a company that is a reference point in its field. Only three wines show off the excellent work and high quality of this canteen to the essence of Etna Rosso Serra from Contessa.

Barone di Villagrande

One of the oldest wine growing realities in the Etna territory. The passion for wine in an area that is everything but easy when working with vines. A volcanic cone on the east of Etna. I must mention Fiore Bianco and Etna Rosso.

Baglio del Cristo di Campobello

Carmelo with brothers Angelo and Domenico consolidate the efforts that have been made during these last years through a program of rebirth on their 30 Hectares of vineyards. Deep terrains, characterised by Limestone and Gypsum offer some unique shades.
